Jan 22....I keep thinking there is going to be something to tell you about and frankly there just isn't yet.....We have set the date to open the pier back ....that date will be Friday, March 26th 2010 at 6am.....come early .....the first Va. Mullet will win the 2010 season bottom fishing pass....I will remind you again as the date approaches....
We have had no snow and no really interesting things to tell you about so far....we are currently waiting on some drawings so that we can apply for our building permit....some of you may have already heard our plans for the winter was and is to build a new addition out back....we are looking to have a much larger deck for dining so that you may sit and eat and see the water.....we are running about a month behind.....hopefully it will be finished or close to finished by the time the pier opens....(that hope is not looking so good right now)....I plan to post pictures of the progress.....

Not seeing much action out there lately to be honest not seeing anyone even trying ....the reports I'm getting is that the water temp is down in the mid to upper 40's.....out on the boat in the water way I have heard reports of black drum and sheepshead....and the occasional trout.....but I haven't seen any fish any where except the freezer and the grocery store.....
